St. Gallen. 40 weeks.

About 1.5 hours from Zürich is St. Gallen. Known for its' famous Bratwurst this industrial city has the heart of small town. Inside the central Abbey a famous library housing thousands of enormous, hand written books dating 900ACE and earlier. The rococco interior shows beautiful inlaid floors a double-decker filing system for books, from A to ZZ, and an intricately painted ceiling. Built in 1700 this Stiftsbibliothek is well known as the most beautiful room in the Rococco style across Europe. No photos allowed!
